Day 1 - Turning the Ignition Key
But with the turning of the ignition key, you might be starting the adventure of a lifetime... hahaha. Okay, so my first time wasn't so bad. I mean, i only killed the engines thrice. That's more than what i could've done if i say so myself. The best thing was i was calm and it felt so natural as i sat on the driver's seat n_n. I didn't feel anxious and there were no "what ifs" that entered my mind. So anyway manong took me to this isolated place near CDU. It's not really isolated it's just that not so much cars go there. So manong started by explaining to me what a clutch does. I think I got that right away ^^. Then he told me move forward and backward 10 times. He then taught me how to turn a full 360 degrees. I got that smoothly too ^^. OKay fine, maybe not smoothly. I got the car stuck in mud and manong had to get the car out. The wheels were a mess!! Manong has to do a lot of cleaning tonight... sori!!!
Driving feels good ^^. It's like gaining control over something and only you can manipulate -- hey sometimes people would want to feel like that :)):)). My goodness my neck hurts, i think overstretched my neck during the reverse session. Hope i don't get stiff neck tomorrow. Driving, like life, you always move forward. Once you turn that ignition key, it's like taking your first step and all you got to do next is press that accelerator and keep moving forward till it takes you to where you're headed. As for me, I've turned that ignition key and pressed that accelerator but i haven't reached my destination yet. For now, all we can do is wish and hope everyone would have a safe trip. n_n
